Every dog is an individual and will learn at their own unique pace. The amount of dog training needed also depends on your goals, and how much time you are able to devote to training. Even a single lesson can be helpful for receiving insight and guidance on your dogβs behavior. Training is truly a lifelong journey with your dog, and weβre here to help for as long as you find our services beneficial. Please reach out to talk to us about how much training your dog may need.
We provide in home services and also train in public depending on goals.

Harnesses, long lines, treats, toys, clickers, flirt poles, agility equipment...
Equipment we DONβT use: prong collars, shock collars, slip leads, anything that causes pain, stress, or fear. Please know that we also wonβt judge you for your use of equipment currently or in the past. We just ask that you have an open mind and are willing to try our methods out.
We accept cash, check, or card for in person services. Virtual clients will receive an invoice via email to be paid at least 24 hours before your first lesson. Payment plans are available for packages through afterpay or written agreement with trainer.
We believe dog training should be accessible to everyone, and offer sliding scale services to clients who need financial assistance. Email megan@trainyour.dog for more info.
We work with dogs of any shape, size, or age! Puppies can get started with training and socialization as soon as you bring them home. (We have safety protocols for puppies who havenβt been fully vaccinated yet.) We love working with senior dogs, and old dogs can absolutely learn new tricks!
Weekend and evening appointments are typically 3-4 weeks out, and weekday daytime appointments can usually be scheduled in 2-3 weeks. Sometimes wait times are longer (or shorter!), and a wait list will be created during peak busy times.
